Derby suburban set TY519 (M50064 leading presumably with 59019 + 50115) arrives into Worcester Shrub Hill station on 19th October 1974 with a service from Birmingham. The station was opened by the Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway in 1850 but the present Great Western & Midland Railway station building was designed by Edward Wilson and built in 1865. Swindon Cross-Country set C558 is in the centre road at Worcester Shrub Hill on 12/2/77. The lack of water pipes on the roof of the closest vehicle means it is DMBC 51579. It sits next to 1023 Western Fusilier on Western Finale charter from Exeter St Davids to York via Leeds. Stephen Burdett.

Class 119 DMU set B573 stabled in the centre road at Worcester Shrub Hill on 4 November 1977. The water filler pipe at the far end of the first vehicle tells us the DMSL is closest, the vehicles should be 51083 + 59417 + 51055. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Motor Brake Composite W50705 was built at Swindon Works and entered service at Cardiff in 1957. It was still allocated to Cardiff when seen at Worcester Shrub Hill bound for Hereford on 28 March 1978. The other two vehicles in set C500 are presumably 59265 and 50647. Jeremy Chapter.
